EYFS 2024 New starters
Welcome to Roebuck School.
Welcome to The Roebuck School, we are so pleased you have decided to join our school.
My name is Mrs. Whittaker I am EYFS lead and have been teaching 30 years. I have been working at The Roebuck School for 5 years and have previously worked at an Infant school in Leyland. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know you and your child.
As a school it is important we get to know our children and parents well and the first way we do this is by inviting you and your child to a meeting in Tuesday 18th June so that we can meet.
There will be two meeting times for you to choose from: 3.30pm or 6pm. We always ask that you let the school office know which session you would like to attend so we can plan for numbers.
The meeting will consist of a short session where we will introduce you to the staff in school and talk you through some key information to make your transition to school go as smoothly as possible. After that you will get the opportunity to look around the EYFS unit and ask staff any questions.
