Welcome to Sycamore Class!
We have got lots of exciting learning planned for our last half term in Year 3 including continuing our science topic on Electricity and our history topic on the Stone Age. In English we will be studying ‘The Treasure of the Loch Ness Monster' by Lari Don and writing a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts based on our reading. Our maths work will include work on adding and subtracting and numbers to 1000. We will answer problem solving questions and further our understanding of calculations.
Our PE for this half term will be invasion games including work on football and basketball. Children should come to school in their PE kits every Tuesday.
Please remember to practise your weekly spellings and try to read your books for at least 5 minutes every day! Please also continue to practice your times tables regularly using TT Rockstars to help you. You also have a home learning grid where the expectation is that you will complete one activity each week. There will be Dojo points available for children who are working on their learning at home.
