Mr Newsham

Welcome to Maple - Year 3&4
Maple class is taught by Mr Newsham and Miss Thompson on a Thursday afternoon.

In Maple Class our theme for this half-term is 'The Art of Food.' We will be learning all about our digestive system, teeth and how to have a balanced diet.

Important information

  •  We have PE on Thursdays.  P.E. is an important part of school life and children need to partake when possible. Therefore please ensure that children have a P.E. kit in a named bag in school at all times, these can be taken home in the holidays to be washed. Please remember to take out any earrings, so we are safe in our lessons.
  • Home Learning is made up of tasks to be completed across the half term and weekly spellings. Please return home learning books every Tuesday. Your child will receive a certificate when they have completed four of  the tasks.
  • Reading is key to learning, please can you ensure that your child reads their book every night and sign their home reading journal regularlly.
