• how to strengthen materials to build stable structures
• how to design, make and evaluate a new structure

This half-term in our History lessons, our key question is: How did Richard Arkwright put Preston 'on the map'?

We'll be learning:

• who Richard Arkwright was and why he was a significant local historical figure
• how his spinning wheel invention changed cotton production

This half-term in our RE lessons, our key question is: Why do muslims believe it is important to obey God?

We'll be learning:

• about muslim prayer rituals
• how muslims pray in the mosque
• why prayer is important for muslims
