This half term, we will continue to recap on a range of topics that have been covered in order to ensure we have consolidated our learning. For our Year 6 children, we will be keeping one eye on the upcoming SATS tests and will be completing a lot of arithmetic work, particularly our understanding of multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting fractions and long division.
One area of maths which is massively important to our everyday lives is time. Because of the importance of this, we shall continue our understanding of this further so that we can convert between digital and analogue times, convert different units of time and add and subtract different amounts of time.
It is really important that children continue to consolidate their understanding of multiplications as this is a key part of Year 5 and 6, in particular our work on fractions. Please use ttrockstars and hit the button to help develop your child's understanding and quick recall.
